FREE BLOG

Pros
- It’s free

Cons
- You don’t have full control of your blog
- Once they close their service, your blog, all your writing and hard work will vanish in the air.
- Some free blog services, like WordPress.Com don’t allow you to monetize your blog.

PAID BLOG

Pros
- You have full control of your blog.  You can do whatever you want with it.  You can add widget, javascript, even monetize it all the way you want.
- It does look more professional.

Cons
- It’s not free

The question above is very simple and I’m sure anyone who at least has little blogging experience can answer it correctly.

Creating a blog, either it is Free or Paid is  is very easy.  It even can be done within minutes.  But maintaining a blog require a lot of hard work, especially for a brand new blog: you have to fill your blog with useful-quality contents regularly, you have to optimize your blog and all your pages so search engine can easily find it, you have to promote your blog, building backlinks, manage all comments you got from visitor…

Every body can create a blog, but only few can maintain it well.

The most persistent creatures in this world are those who never stop learning.  They know nothing at first, can do nothing at first (can’t even lift their own head or speak a word), but only after a year, they speak many words and walk so fast (or even run).

The most persistent creatures in this world are those who never give up.  Look out how they learn to sit. They fail so many times. But they try and try and try and try and try again until they succeed. Look out how they learn to walk. They fall so many times, but never afraid to stand again.

The most persistent creatures in this world are those who always be able to stand up again no matter how many times they fall.

The most persistent creatures in this world are those who never stop screaming until Mommy comes bringing their warm delicious milk.

I guess you know the answer now… Yes, it’s true. They’re BABIES!

After reading this article, some of may be thinking, what is this article has to do with blogging? My answer is: a lot.  If a blogger has these babies attitudes, if he never stop learning, if he never give up, if he persistent enough to achieve his goal, without doubt I say, he will be a successful blogger.

Blogging is a never ending journey. Whether you are a pro or newbie, you should not stop learning because once you stop learning, your improvement stop, your blog content might stale, and at last you might loose your visitor.

So when you start blogging, prepare yourself… Because your blog won’t be your buddy for only few years, it might stay with you forever!  It might even be your second wife:)
